Winnipeg Jets Rumors: Defenseman Becoming Trade Candidate
In a recent article for Daily Faceoff, NHL insider Frank Seravalli listed Winnipeg Jets defenseman Logan Stanley as an offseason trade candidate.
Seeing Stanley's name now in the rumor mill is not all that surprising. After all, the Jets barely utilized him this season, as he appeared in just 19 games. The 2016 first-round pick would likely benefit from a change of scenery at this point of his career, as he is just not getting the opportunities to succeed in Winnipeg due to their defensive depth.
Stanley's size, physicality, and former top prospect status should lead to him receiving plenty of interest this summer. Some teams who could in the running for his services include the Anaheim Ducks, Washington Capitals, Philadelphia Flyers, and New York Islanders.
Alas, we will need to wait and see if Stanley ends up being moved from the Jets from here.
