Anaheim Ducks Rumors: Team Likely To Trade Two Forwards By 2024 Trade Deadline

Speculation has been swirling around the Anaheim Ducks regarding the potential trades of Adam Henrique and Jakob Silfverberg.

While the Ducks held onto them at this year's trade deadline, it appears increasingly likely that both players will be on the move before next season's season's trade deadline.

Adam Henrique, a versatile forward signed through next season, and Jakob Silfverberg, another valuable asset, have been mentioned as potential trade candidates.

The Ducks' decision to retain them during the last trade deadline may have been strategic, possibly waiting for a more favorable market or evaluating their performance. However, as the new season progresses, the Ducks' intention to trade both players seems to be gaining momentum.

That being said, the Ducks may have made a mistake hanging onto Silfverberg, now that he is reportedly set to return to Sweden following next season. As a result, they likely won't be able to get a great return for him.

With Henrique and Silfverberg set to hit the trade block, the Ducks will be aiming to acquire assets in return, probably not much, but some picks at list.

By moving these veteran forwards, Anaheim would not only free up salary cap space but also gain draft picks or young prospects to accelerate their ongoing rebuild. Photo Credit: Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports
