It's a three-year ELC for the 21-year-old, who was the Coyotes' fifth-round selection in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft (151st overall). His brother, Aatu, is a Vancouver Canucks prospect.
Räty, a 6'0" winger, was set to become an unrestricted free agent on June 1st before signing the deal.
He's noted as an underrated prospect, as his advancement this past season has launched him to new levels. After transferring from Karpat to Ilves in the Liiga, he significantly raised his impact on the ice, as he recorded a +26 in addition to the 42 points.
It hasn't been determined yet if Räty will return to Finland on loan next season, or make his way to North America.
