Boston Bruins Captain Will Take His Time To Make Next Career Decision
The Boston Bruins along with the entire NHL world were absolutely stunned on Sunday night when the team were upset by the Florida Panthers, and while the off-season is still a few weeks away, the team now have plenty of questions to answer.
One of those is the future of 18-year veteran and current captain Patrice Bergeron, and after the Game 7 loss, he was asked about that future, responding by saying that he is going to take the time needed to decide his future, which will play a huge role in how the Bruins proceed.
After 18 seasons in Boston, Bergeron will have plenty of options this off-season; retirement, a return to Bean Town or potentially putting on another jersey for the first time ever, and it's safe to say that whatever happens, it's going to be huge news for Boston and the NHL.Patrice Bergeron says he will take time to decide his future, and that he had a herniated disc in his back.
