Extremely cheap for a guy with such high upside who’s expected to be in the NHL both of those years.
The 23-year-old Swedish netminder was undrafted and appeared in 15 games for the Blackhawks in 2022-23, posting a 3.45 GAA and a .894 Sv.%. He's projected to get the majority of the minutes next season in Chicago as they begin their rebuild with projected #1 overall pick Connor Bedard.
Soderblom has appeared in the playoffs the past two seasons for the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, appearing in five games both seasons.

Soderblom went 15-12-5 with a 2.92 GAA & 905 Sv% in 33 games with Rockford this season. Seems likely that he’ll be the backup next year. https://t.co/QWkDc43oMu
