Colorado Avalanche Rumors: Coyotes Forward On Team's Radar

The Colorado Avalanche have been dealt brutal injury news, as Gabriel Landeskog has been ruled out for all of next season. As a result, the Avalanche are expected to browse the trade market for left wingers, and Lawson Crouse is reportedly on their radar because of it.

Crouse's name picked up steam in the rumor mill as we inched closer, and the Coyotes are expected to listen to offers for him this summer as well. With the Avalanche desperately needing help at left wing with Landeskog out, bringing in a player like Crouse would make a lot of sense.

Crouse would provide the Avalanche with another top-six option, and his offensive production has the potential to improve if utilized on a line with Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen. We will now need to wait and see if the Avalanche can successfully land Crouse this summer. On paper, there appears to be a good match here.
