Dallas Stars Rumors: Forward On Team's Radar

One of the Dallas Stars' biggest objectives this offseason is to add a top-six winger. As a result of this, they are now being linked to pending UFA Alex Killorn.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are going to try to bring back Killorn, but there is no guarantee that he will stay put. This is because the Lightning have limited cap space heading to the summer, and Killorn's play has warranted him a bit of a raise. The 33-year-old winger put together another strong season in 2022-23, as he had 27 goals, 64 points, and a plus-18 rating. Therefore, with this year's free agency class being weaker, he could land himself a very good contract.

Killorn would be a perfect fit on the Stars' second line and power play, so we will need to wait and see if they make a major push for him from here. On paper, there appears to be a great match here, but time will tell what happens on that front.
