Injury Update On Evgenii Dadonov Provided By Dallas Stars
The Dallas Stars managed to stave off elimination in their Conference Final matchup with the Vegas Golden Knights Thursday night, but still trail 3-1 in the series.
They will, however, have to go into Game 5 once again without the services of forward Evgenii Dadonov. Head coach Peter DeBoer provided an update on the winger who also missed Game 4.
Peter DeBoer on Dadonov, who missed Game 4 w/ a lower-body injury: "He’s out (for Game 5). I would call it longer than day-to-day, but I wouldn’t call him done for the playoffs."

"He’s out (for Game 5). I would call it longer than day-to-day, but I wouldn’t call him done for the playoffs," said DeBoer. Of course, the Stars themselves could be 'done for the playoffs' if they can't secure another victory in Game 5 on Saturday.
Dadonov, the former Golden Knight, suffered a lower-body injury after a collision with his own teammate, Roope Hintz, back in Game 3.

The four-time 20-goal scorer has re-discovered his scoring touch since coming over to the Stars in a trade from Montreal. He had eight points in the Stars' first 10 playoff games this season, and overall has 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) in 16 games.
However, if his team can't summon up at least one more win, his season is already done.
Dallas will also continue to be without the services of Jamie Benn in Game 5 due to a suspension.
