Los Angeles Kings Rumors: 2 Teams Linked to Vladislav Gavrikov

Vladislav Gavrikov has the opportunity to test free agency this summer. As a result of this, the Los Angeles Kings defenseman is already starting to generate some interest around the league, as the Pittsburgh Penguins and Seattle Kraken are preparing to target him this summer.

The Penguins are going to be looking to improve the left side of their defensive group after missing the playoffs this year. Furthermore, with Brian Dumoulin being a pending UFA, Gavrikov has the potential to be an upgrade over him in Pittsburgh's top four if signed.

The Kraken have a notable pending UFA in Carson Soucy. If Soucy decides to test the market, Gavrikov would be a very good replacement for him, as they play a similar defense-first game. Gavrikov would also be in the running to receive top-four minutes in Seattle and would be a key addition to the club's penalty kill as well.
