Los Angeles Kings Rumors: Devils Defenseman On Team's Radar

The Los Angeles Kings are looking to improve the left side of their defensive group this offseason. As a result, there are rumblings that they are expected to pursue New Jersey Devils defenseman Ryan Graves if he hits the free-agent market this summer.

Graves has shown that he can handle top-four minutes while playing at his best, and that is exactly the kind of player that the Kings need right now. He plays an extremely reliable defensive game and also is very physical. As a result, he would be a great addition to play on the club's second pairing if signed. 

Graves put together a strong 2022-23 season where he had eight goals, 18 assists, and a plus-34 rating. After a season like this, he is going to be a hot commodity on the free-agent market, so the Kings will have plenty of competition to sign him. We will need to wait and see if Los Angeles can land him from here.
