Los Angeles Kings Rumors: Forward Becoming Trade Candidate

The Los Angeles Kings are heading into the offseason with limited cap space and a surplus of forwards. As a result, Alex Iafallo's name is starting to emerge in the rumor mill.

Iafallo put together a solid season with the Kings in 2022-23, as he had 14 goals to go along with 36 points in 59 games. As a result, teams looking for some help on their second line could certainly be in the mix for the 29-year-old's services.

Although Iafallo has been a solid contributor to the Kings' forward group for a handful of seasons, they have many similar players to him that produce at the same or higher levels. With that, Iafallo has a $4 million cap hit until the completion of the 2024-25 season. The Kings would benefit from moving it out.

Nevertheless, we will need to wait and see what happens with Iafallo from here. Some teams who could look to acquire him include the Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh Penguins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, and Calgary Flames.
