Philadelphia Flyers Rumors: Surprising Player Made Available For Right Price

Just over two weeks into his new job, Philadelphia Flyers' GM Daniel Briere says he is going to leave no stone unturned in stepping up the team's rebuild process. And to that end, he insists that every single player on the roster is available for a price.

That even includes goaltending building block Carter Hart. In an interview on Philly sports radio WIP, Briere didn't exactly say that Hart is on the trade block, but in referring to the young netminder, he did say he'd listen to any offers.

"The position that we're in right now, we have to listen," said Briere. "There's a lot of good young players on our team, but at the same time, if it's better for the organization to move in a different direction, we have to listen. There's no one that's above the team, and I'm gonna listen on everyone."

That said, he does admit that he would expect the 24-year-old to be back, "but I have to be fair for the organization and the fans to listen if there's a better offer elsewhere."

Hart's numbers won't blow anyone away — 2.94 goals against average this season with a .907 save percentage, nearly identical to his five-year career marks — but he has clearly established himself as a top player on the young team.

Felix Sandstrom and Sam Ersson make up the Flyers' depth between the pipes. They have a total of just 33 NHL starts between them.
