Stars Get Lineup Boost For Game 6; Kraken Forward Out With Injury

Both the Seattle Kraken and the Dallas Stars have had notable players dealing with upper-body injuries recently.

Daniel Sprong of the Kraken, who had been sidelined for three consecutive games, participated in a recent skate session but will not be returning for crucial Game 6 against the Dallas Stars.

In addition, questionable players Roope Hintz and Ty Dellandrea will also be playing tonight.

Despite his regular season success, achieving career-highs in goals (21) and assists (22), Sprong's availability for the remainder of the series remains uncertain, as reported by Alison Lukan of Root Sports.

On the other side, the Dallas Stars' Mason Marchment suffered an upper-body injury in Game 4, taking an elbow to the head.

Although he was unable to play in Game 5, there is good news for the Stars as Marchment is expected to make his return to the lineup for Game 6 in Seattle.

Coach Peter DeBoer has confirmed Marchment's availability, bringing back his offensive impact to the team. Throughout the playoffs, Marchment has been a key contributor with three goals and two assists in 10 games.

Both teams are facing crucial moments in their respective playoff series, as the Stars will move on with a win and the Kraken can force a decisive Game 7 with a win. Photo Credit: Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports
