Stars Jamie Benn: "We Got What We Deserved" After Blowout Loss in Game 3
The Seattle Kraken are a problem and Jamie Benn and his Dallas Stars are finding this out first hard during their second-round Stanley Cup Playoff series. Benn and the Stars got pummeled during Game 3, 7-2 and Benn didn't mince words after the game.
The Stars captain had this to say to The Athletic's Saad Yousuf:
I think we got what we deserved tonight. We're going to move on.
One of the crazy stats from Game 3 was the fact the Kraken scored seven goals by seven different goal scorers as their balanced attack was on full display Sunday. The second-year franchise now lead a second-round Stanley Cup Playoff series 2-1, with Game 4 slated for Tuesday night back in Seattle.
As for the Stars, they went 0-for-3 on the man advantage in Game 3 and look to get their offense back on track and prolong the series. Dallas won't be able to rely on goaltender Jake Oettinger to save the day every game and need their captain, along with their other big guns to get their mojo back.
