Columbus Blue Jackets Sign Forward To Multi-Year Deal

Right winger for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Mathieu Olivier, has signed a new two-year contract extension with the team.

The deal is worth $2.2 million, averaging $1.1 million per year, and will keep Olivier with the Blue Jackets until the 2024-25 season.

Despite limited cap space, the team has shown confidence in Olivier's abilities after acquiring him from the Nashville Predators the previous year.

The new contract represents a raise for Olivier, indicating the team's belief in his potential.
