Jets' Connor Hellebuyck Linked to 7 Teams for Summer Trade

According to Matt Larkin of the Daily Faceoff, he could see seven teams involved in trade talks with the Winnipeg Jets for starting goaltender Connor Hellebuyck.

The former Vezina trophy winner stirred up quite the trade buzz after this past season where he confirmed he wants out if the Jets are going to rebuild. With an aging core and a limited sense of direction, there's a chance Winnipeg moves on from several of their core players this offseason, including Hellebuyck, Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele.

As for where the Jets netminder winds up, Larkin sees the Carolina Hurricanes, Los Angeles Kings, New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Vegas Golden Knights all as possibilities. Different levels of course.

If Hellebuyck does get moved, look for the Senators, Penguins and Hurricanes to be the most interested. The 30-year-old goaltender posted a 2.49 GAA and a .920 Sv.% in 64 game last season.
