Los Angeles Kings Rumors: Forward Linked to Winnipeg Jets

The Winnipeg Jets are gearing up for some changes. Pierre-Luc Dubois, Mark Scheifele, and Blake Wheeler are all trade candidates, and their forward group will be worsened if they are moved. As a result, they are browsing the trade market for possible replacements. According to The Fourth Period, they are currently linked to Alex Iafallo.

Iafallo is emerging as a trade candidate because of the Los Angeles Kings' strong forward depth. As a result, it makes sense that they are looking to move him. Freeing up cap space is a necessity for the Kings if they hope to make big moves to improve their roster elsewhere, and trading Iafallo would give them just that.

Iafallo has shown over the years that he is a solid middle-six option, so it makes sense that the Jets are considering him as an option. When looking at their group, he would be a candidate for second-line minutes. With that, his solid all-around game would certainly lead to him receiving power-play and penalty-kill time.

Time will if the Jets end up landing Iafallo, but this is something that hockey fans should keep an eye on this summer.
