DONE DEAL: Jets To Receive Big Haul In Pierre-Luc Dubois Trade; PLD's Massive Extension Revealed

After the Montreal Canadiens dropped out of the bidding for Pierre-Luc Dubois, the Winnipeg Jets turned their attention solely to the Los Angeles Kings, and today a blockbuster deal has essentially been completed.

It will be a sign-and-trade, with Dubois set to sign a maximum-term eight-year, $8.5M AAV extension.

The Jets will receive a haul in return; three players from the Kings that would go straight into their lineup, in forwards Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iafallo, and Rasmus Kupari. They'll also receive a second-round draft pick.

One of the league's top young forwards, Dubois, 25, is the former third-overall pick in the 2016 NHL entry draft, and already has four 20+ goal seasons in just six years in the NHL. The Kings are hoping he's a game-changer for them going forward.
