2 Carolina Hurricanes Who Could Be Traded Before 2023-24 Season
Now that the busiest part of free agency is over, trade talk is starting to pick up again. As a result, this series will go over two players from each team who could be traded before the start of the 2023-24 season.
In this latest edition of the series, we will be focusing our attention on the Carolina Hurricanes.
Brett Pesce: Brett Pesce is among the top trade targets this offseason. The top-four defenseman is entering the final season of his contract, and the Hurricanes have made it known that will trade him if he does not agree to a long-term extension. Teams like the Edmonton Oilers, Buffalo Sabres, Dallas Stars, and Nashville Predators have since been linked to him.
Jack Drury: Reports surfaced that Jack Drury requested a trade during the 2022-23 season. Although one did not happen during the year, one has to wonder if that will change before October rolls around. It is clear that the 23-year-old wants a bigger role, and the Hurricanes forward depth is just too deep for him to land one. Thus, a change of scenery may be in order.
