2 Chicago Blackhawks Who Could Be Traded Before 2023-24 Season

Now that the busiest part of free agency is over, trade talk is starting to pick up again. As a result, this series will go over two players from each team who could be traded before the start of the 2023-24 season.

In this latest edition of the series, let's look at the Chicago Blackhawks.

Connor Murphy: Connor Murphy has been in the rumor mill since the Blackhawks began their rebuild, and one has to wonder if they will move him this summer because of it. Murphy is a shutdown right-shot defenseman who can handle playing top-four minutes. Thus, if Chicago wants to add more draft picks or prospects to their group, they certainly could look to move Murphy.

Tyler Johnson: After posting just seven points in 26 games for Chicago in 2021-22, Tyler Johnson bounced back beautifully this past season. In 56 games, the 32-year-old had 12 goals and 32 points. Due to this, Johnson's trade value has improved and with the Blackhawks rebuilding, they could look to take advantage of that.
