2 New Jersey Devils Who Could Be Traded Before 2023-24 Season

Now that the busiest part of free agency is over, trade talk is starting to pick up again. As a result, this series. will go over two players from each team who could be traded before the start of the 2023-24 season.

In this final edition of the series, we will be looking at the New Jersey Devils. 

Vitek Vanecek: If the Devils want to bring in a high-impact goaltender before the start of the season, they would likely need to include Vitek Vanecek as a part of the trade package. The 27-year-old had a solid season with the Devils this past year, posting a 33-11-4 record, 2.45 GAA, and .911 SV%. However, his struggles during the playoffs and the Devils being in win-now mode could make him expendable.

Chase Stillman: If the Devils want to make another big addition before the start of the season, prospect Chase Stillman could be a trade candidate. The 2021 first-round pick has a bright future ahead of him and rebuilding teams would likely love to add him to their prospect pool because of it.
