2 Seattle Kraken Who Could Be Traded Before 2023-24 Season

Now that the busiest part of free agency is over, trade talk is starting to pick up again. As a result, this series will go over two players from each team who could be traded before the start of the 2023-24 season.

In this latest edition of the series, we will be focusing on the Seattle Kraken.

Chris Driedger: The Kraken have been actively looking to move Chris Driedger this offseason. The 29-year-old missed a major chunk of this past season and played in the AHL upon his return. With the Kraken likely going with a Philipp Grubauer and Joey Daccord tandem next season, Driedger is expendable. The real kicker - who will take on his expensive $3.5 million cap hit?

Ryker Evans: If the Kraken want to make a major addition to their group that improves their roster immediately, they could look to trade prospect Ryker Evans. The 21-year-old defenseman would certainly grab attention from rebuilders, as he just had a solid season in the AHL, posting six goals and 44 points.
