2 Tampa Bay Lightning Who Could Be Traded Before 2023-24 Season

Now that the busiest part of free agency is over, trade talk is starting to pick up again. As a result, this series will go over two players from each team who could be traded before the start of the 2023-24 season.

In this latest edition of the series, we will be looking at the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Philippe Myers: Philippe Myers was barely utilized by the Lightning last season. He appeared in just 11 games for the NHL squad, posting one goal and two assists. With the Syracuse Crunch, the 26-year-old had eight goals to go along with 29 points. When noting that he carries a $1.4 million cap hit and is so low on their depth chart, expect Tampa Bay to try to move him.

Isaac Howard: If the Lightning want to make a notable addition through the trade market this summer, one prospect who could be dealt is Isaac Howard. The 2022 first-round pick possesses a good amount of potential, and rebuilding teams would love to have him. In 35 games this past season with the University of Minnesota-Duluth, the 19-year-old posted 17 points.
