2 Vancouver Canucks Who Could Be Traded Before 2023-24 Season
Now that the busiest part of free agency is over, trade talk is starting to pick up again. As a result, this series will go over two players from each team who could be traded before the start of the 2023-24 season.
In this latest edition of the series, we will be focusing on the Vancouver Canucks.
Tyler Myers: Tyler Myers is expected to be dealt before the start of the 2023-24 season. The San Jose Sharks are one team that has been heavily linked to the veteran defenseman. In 78 games last season for Vancouver, Myers had one goal, 16 assists, and a minus-16 rating.
Conor Garland: Conor Garland has also been getting some attention in the rumor mill. The Canucks would like to move on from his $4.95 million cap hit until the completion of the 2025-26 season. Yet, it will likely cost them assets for a team to take it on, as it is expensive and long-term. In 81 games last season, the Massachusetts native had 17 goals and 46 points.
