2 Vegas Golden Knights Who Could Be Traded Before 2023-24 Season

Now that the busiest part of free agency is over, trade talk is starting to pick up again. As a result, this series will go over two players from each team who could be traded before the start of the 2023-24 season.

In this latest edition of the series, the Vegas Golden Knights will be the team of focus.

Logan Thompson: NHL insider Kevin Weekes reported earlier this offseason that the Golden Knights have received offers for Logan Thompson. Perhaps the Golden Knights could be willing to move him if it results in them improving their roster elsewhere. Keep in mind, they just locked up Adin Hill to a two-year, $9.8 million contract due to his excellent postseason.

Alec Martinez: Alec Martinez is another Golden Knight who has come up in the rumor mill. The 35-year-old carries a $5.25 million cap hit, and it would be beneficial for Vegas to get that off of the books. Teams looking for a bit more defensive stability and experience could look to add him. In 77 games this past season, the Michigan native had three goals, 11 assists, and a plus-30 rating.
