2 Winnipeg Jets Who Could Be Traded Before 2023-24 Season

Now that the busiest part of free agency is over, trade talk is starting to pick up again. As a result, this series will go over two players from each team who could be traded before the start of the 2023-24 season.

In this latest installment of the series, we will be focusing on the Winnipeg Jets. They have already been quite busy this offseason, trading Pierre-Luc Dubois and waiving Blake Wheeler. However, they may not be done just yet.

Connor Hellebuyck: A Connor Hellebuyck trade is certainly possible this summer. The 30-year-old has made it known that he is unwilling to sign an extension, which spells trouble when noting that he is in the final year of his deal. Thus, Winnipeg is listening to offers for the star netminder. In 64 appearances this past season, he had a 37-25-2 record, 2.49 GAA, and .920 SV%.

Mark Scheifele: Mark Scheifele is another Jet to pay close attention to in the rumor mill. He is also entering the final season of his contract, and he has been linked to an array of teams this summer. In 81 games this past season for the Jets, the 30-year-old posted a career-high 42 goals to go along with 68 points in 81 games.
