Anaheim Ducks Rumors: Adam Henrique Linked to New Team

Adam Henrique has been in the rumor mill this offseason, but at the time of this writing, he still remains with the Anaheim Ducks. However, things could potentially change on that front soon, as the New York Islanders are linked to the veteran forward, according to The Fourth Period.

The Islanders would be wise to add another forward to their group before the summer is over. It is clear that they need more scoring, and this is something that Henrique has the potential to provide. Appearing in 62 games last season, the 33-year-old posted 22 goals to go along with 38 points.

If the Islanders acquired Henrique, he would be a good addition to their middle six. He offers excellent versatility, being able to play all three forward positions. With that, he is a solid two-way forward, so he would be a candidate for both their power play and penalty kill.

Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello also loves bringing back former New Jersey Devils to Long Island, so that is another thing to note.

Alas, let's see if the Islanders acquire Henrique over these next few weeks.
