Arizona Coyotes Re-Sign Forward
The Arizona Coyotes have signed Jack McBain to a two-year, $3.2 million contract.
McBain's arbitration date was set for today (July 30), but the young forward and the Coyotes have finalized an agreement before it officially began. Now, the 23-year-old will be aiming to build off of his solid first full NHL season during the 2023-24 campaign.
McBain proved to be a very solid contributor to the Coyotes' roster in more ways than one. In 82 games played, he posted 12 goals to go along with 26 points. He also made a notable difference when it came to his physicality, posting a whopping 304 hits.
McBain will now be looking to take that next step and improve on his offensive contributions during the 2023-24 season. He has all the tools to blossom into an effective middle-six center in the NHL, so let's see if he puts up another solid season for the Coyotes from here.
