Arizona Coyotes Re-Sign Goaltender

The Arizona Coyotes have re-signed goaltender Ivan Prosvetov to a one-year, two-way contract. The exact terms of the deal have not been announced.

Prosvetov made a career-high seven appearances for the Coyotes last season, where he had a 4-3-0 record, an .880 save percentage, and a 3.98 goals-against average. The 24-year-old primarily played in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Tucson Roadrunners, however, as he sported a 3.06 GAA and .900 SV% in 35 games.

Prosvetov will likely continue to serve as an extra goaltender for the Coyotes, He has shown that he can be a call-up option, and it will be interesting to see if he can take that next step in his development this upcoming season from here.

In 13 career NHL games over three seasons, Prosvetov has a 4-6-1 record, .871 SV%, and 4.07 GAA. Let's see if he gets the chance to improve upon these numbers with the Coyotes during the 2023-24 campaign from here.
