Boston Bruins Sign 3 Players

The Boston Bruins have signed Michael DiPietro, Alec Regula, and Reilly Walsh all to one-year, $750,000 contracts. Each contract is also a two-way deal.

The Bruins acquired DiPietro from the Vancouver Canucks last season as a part of the Jack Studnicka deal. Due to Boston's goaltending depth, DiPietro is expected to stay in the minors for the 2023-24 season. In three career NHL games, he has a 0-2-0 record, a .771 save percentage (SV%), and a 5.25 goals-against average (GAA).

Regula was recently acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks as one of the pieces in the Taylor Hall/Nick Foligno trade. The 6-foot-4 right-shot defenseman will be looking to impress at camp, as it could lead to him landing a depth spot on Boston's NHL roster. In four games last season with Chicago, he had zero points and a minus-3 rating.

The Bruins acquired Walsh earlier this summer from the New Jersey Devils. The 24-year-old will also be looking to fight for an NHL spot. The Massachusetts native appeared in 71 games this past season with the Utica Comets, posting nine goals and 41 points.
