Dallas Stars Bring Back Forward On New Deal


The Dallas Stars have solidified their commitment to forward Riley Damiani by signing him to a one-year two-way contract for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

Hailing from Mississauga, Ontario, the 23-year-old displayed his potential during an solid campaign with the Texas Stars in the AHL.

In 59 games, Damiani showcased his scoring prowess by tallying 13 goals and 18 assists, totaling 31 points.

Notably, he matched his career-high in goals, including four power-play goals, one shorthanded goal, and three game-winners.

Damiani's contributions extended beyond the regular season, as he made an impact in the playoffs, accumulating three points in six games.

This signing emphasizes the Stars' belief in Damiani's development and his role as a valuable asset within the organization.
