Montreal Canadiens Bring Back 2 Players

The Montreal Canadiens have signed Nicolas Beaudin to a one-year, $750,000 contract and Lucas Condotta to a two-year, $1.55 million contract. Both are two-way deals.

Beaudin put together a strong season with the Laval Rocket in 2022-23, posting two goals and 25 points in 39 games. It was a major step in the right direction for the 2018 first-round pick, and now he will be aiming to build off of it in 2023-24. If he continues to produce well, a call-up could be in the cards.

Condotta, on the other hand, appeared in 72 games with the Rocket, posting 16 goals, 31 points, and 61 penalty minutes. The 25-year-old also appeared in his first NHL with Montreal and scored a goal against the Boston Bruins.

With these moves, the Canadiens are keeping around two decent depth pieces. It will be interesting to see how well Beaudin and Condotta perform this campaign.
