Montreal Canadiens Sign Fifth-Overall Pick David Reinbacher
The Montreal Canadiens have signed Carey Price's new favorite player as the team inked fifth-overall pick David Reinbacher to an entry-level contract.
Price had a hard time with remembering Reinbacher's name during the draft and gave us all a viral moment we won't soon forget. He's since apologized and now Reinbacher is ready to take on Habs fans and showcase what he can do on the ice.
The 18-year-old right-handed defenseman signed a three-year deal and last season collected 22 points in 46 games with the Swiss League's Kloten HC. He also chipped in with another two points in three playoff games.
At 6-foot-2 and close to 200lbs, it won't be long before Reinbacher is a full-time regular for the Canadiens. He recently attended the Habs' development camp and put all of his skills on display which reportedly turned many heads across the organization and the fan base.
David .........Reinbacher, welcome to the NHL.
