New Jersey Devils Sign Veteran Center
The New Jersey Devils have added some depth down the middle as the team has announced they've signed Chris Tierney to a one-year two-way contract.
Tierney adds a bit of center depth for #NJDevils this coming season. A good face-off guy as well.

The 29-year-old Tierney appeared in 36 NHL games last season, split between the Florida Panthers and Montreal Canadiens. He put up 10 combined points and was very effective in the faceoff circle.
Tierney will battle it out in Jersey for a fourth-line center role. The Keswick, ON native has had a hard time finding consistent playing time since leaving the Ottawa Senators after the 2021-22 season. He's hoping to catch on with the Devils and make an impression with their coaching staff.
Since being drafted in the second-round in 2012, Tierney has appeared in 597 career NHL games, posting 76 goals and 236 points.
