New York Rangers Rumors: Insider Names 4 Possible Targets
In a recent article for the New York Post, Larry Brooks listed Max Comtois, Colin White, Austin Watson, and Zack Kassian as players who the New York Rangers could consider signing.
Brooks noted that players like Comtois and White could make sense for New York if they are looking to add a bit more skill to their bottom six. Furthermore, with free agency now multiple weeks in, there is a good chance that they will likely settle for a PTO or league-minimum deal.
In 64 games last season with the Anaheim Ducks, Comtois had nine goals and 19 points. White, on the other hand, had eight goals and seven assists in 68 games with the Florida Panthers.
Watson and Kassian, on the other hand, could be decent additions for the Rangers if they are looking to add more toughness to their fourth line. That is an area that could use some improvement since Ryan Reaves' departure.
Watson posted nine goals, 11 points, and 123 penalty minutes this past season with the Ottawa Senators. Meanwhile, Kassian recorded two goals in 51 games with the Arizona Coyotes.
