NHL Rumors: 2 Possible Landing Spots for Oskar Sundqvist

Oskar Sundqvist is one of the top remaining free-agent forwards available on the market. Although he still does not have a home almost one week into free agency, that could change shortly. Two teams who are emerging as possible landing spots for the 29-year-old forward include the Anaheim Ducks and Arizona Coyotes.

Although the Ducks are rebuilding, they have made it clear that they are willing to add players who can help improve their roster when they signed Alex Killorn. Now, they are looking improve their bottom six, and that is something that Sundqvist would be able to provide. After all, he can play all three forward positions, kill penalties, and provide decent secondary scoring.

The Coyotes, on the other hand, have been spending money this summer. It is clear that they want to put together a more competitive roster in 2023-24, so it make s sense that Sundqvist is on their radar. Like with the Ducks, he would likely receive third-line minutes if signed by Arizona.

We will need to wait and see if either of these clubs end up signing Sundqvist from here.
