NHL Rumors: 3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations for Josh Bailey

We are almost a week into free agency, and Josh Bailey is still looking for his new home. The 33-year-old posted 25 points in 64 games this past season and has the potential to be a decent bottom-six addition to a club. Let's discuss three possible free-agent destinations for the former longtime New York Islander.

Toronto Maple Leafs: The Toronto Maple Leafs stand out as a team who could consider signing Bailey to a cheap one-year deal. They have lost several forwards through free agency, and Bailey could be a decent little addition to their bottom six because of it.

Colorado Avalanche: The Colorado Avalanche also have had multiple subtractions to their group. When noting that they could use some depth on the wing, Bailey could be a player worth some consideration for them. He would also provide them with another veteran to help mentor their younger players.

Minnesota Wild: The Minnesota Wild have limited cap space and are looking to improve their roster. With Bailey not expected to make much money on the market, he could be an option for them. He would fit nicely on their third line and give them a bit more production in their bottom six.
