NHL Rumors: 3 Teams Potentially Interested in Patrick Kane

In a recent mailbag for NHL.com, Dan Rosen wrote that he believes that the New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, and Buffalo Sabres will be some of the teams interested in signing Patrick Kane.

Kane is not in any rush to make a decision, as he is rehabbing from his hip surgery.

Kane was acquired by the Rangers before the deadline passed this past season, and it would not be surprising if they looked to bring him in again. They could use more help on the wing and if signed to a cheap deal, it could be worth experimenting with him again.

The Devils are in win-now mode, and they could certainly use another star player like Kane on their roster. He would be a nice addition to their top nine and would provide them with a veteran who has three Stanley Cups on his resume.

Sabres GM Kevyn Adams has made it known that he wants to add another forward to his group due to Jack Quinn's long-term injury. With the Sabres being on the rise, now may be the perfect time for them to bring Kane back home to Buffalo. He would give their top six a nice jolt as they look to get back into the postseason for the first time in over a decade.
