NHL Rumors: Maple Leafs Looking to Sign 2 Top Free-Agent Forwards
The Toronto Maple Leafs are hoping to make more moves before the day is done. According to David Pagnotta, the Maple Leafs are still in the mix for both Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi.
As the #LeafsForever continue to weigh their options and the cap, I'm hearing they remain in the mix for Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi. Bertuzzi wants term, Domi could come in at two years.

Florida was also in on Bertuzzi. Not sure how the Rodrigues signing affects that. https://t.co/XpJuLWoE0R
The Maple Leafs have long been linked to Bertuzzi, so hearing that they are looking to bring him in is not surprising in the slightest. He would not only provide them with a quality top-six forward but also some added grit with it. This is something that they could use more of, especially after losing Michael Bunting to the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Maple Leafs have been in on Domi since the first day of free agency. He expressed a desire to be a Maple Leaf just last offseason, so it is certainly possible that he would be open to heading there now. With Ryan O’Reilly leaving, it wouldn’t be a bad thing to add another forward who can play down the middle – something that Domi is capable of.
Alas, this is something that we should all keep an eye on from here. Adding both Bertuzzi and Domi would certainly be beneficial for the Maple Leafs’ roster as they look to have a big 2023-24 campaign.
