Vladimir Tarasenko is one of the best free agents still available after Day 1 of free agency. There has been interest in the star, and according to Elliotte Friedman, he has had conversations with the Ottawa Senators.

It is not too surprising to hear that the Senators are looking to add a high-impact forward like Tarasenko. It is apparent that they are a team on the rise, and they should compete for a playoff spot next season. Adding a winger like Tarasenko could be exactly the boost they need to do just that.

If signed, Tarasenko would be a great fit in their top six. Furthermore, he would immediately become one of the most important contributors on their power play because of his excellent offensive ability and scoring touch.
