Philadelphia Flyers Re-Sign Ronnie Attard

The Philadelphia Flyers are bringing back one of their prospects, signing Ronnie Attard to a two-year, $1.7 million contract.

Attard's contract will be a two-way deal during the first year and transforms to one-way contract in year two.

Attard spent the majority of this past season in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Appearing in 68 games with the club, he posted 12 goals to go along with 32 points. He also played in two games with the Flyers, failing to get on the scoresheet.

Attard was selected by the Flyers with the 72nd overall pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.

Attard will be aiming to impress at training camp, as it could open the door for him to make their NHL roster in October. At a minimum, he will continue to serve as a call-up option for the Flyers. We will need to wait and see if he can take that next step in his development from here.
