Pittsburgh Penguins Sign 2 Goalies

The Pittsburgh Penguins are bringing back Tristan Jarry, signing him to a five-year, $26.875 million contract.

Many believed that the Penguins would bring in a new starting goalie this offseason. However, with Joonas Korpisalo joining the Ottawa Senators and the trade market being a bit difficult, the Penguins have instead opted to bring back Jarry.

Jarry will continue to serve as the club's number-one netminder next season. In 47 games last season for the Pens, he sported a 24-13-7 record, 2.90 GAA, and .909 SV%.

Jarry will now be aiming to help the Penguins get back into the postseason this upcoming season. If he can remain consistent, this contract could end up being a solid one for Pittsburgh.

Alex Nedeljkovic is also joining the Penguins on a one-year, $1.5 million contract. He will be looking to turn things around after his disastrous 2022-23 season with the Detroit Red Wings.
