Pittsburgh Penguins Sign Vinnie Hinostroza
The Pittsburgh Penguins continue to add around the edges as they've signed free-agent forward Vinnie Hinostroza to a one-year contract worth $775,000.
The club made the announcement on Friday as Hinostroza joins the Pens after spending the last two seasons with the Buffalo Sabres. He put up two goals and nine assists in 26 games last season and added another nine points in 11 AHL games with the Rochester Americans.
Love the Hinostroza signing. Good motor. Way better than any of the fourth liners they’ve had in recent memory. Possesses a good bit of puck transition ability on top of everything else.

Penguins president Kyle Dubas knows Hinostroza well and has been tracking him for a couple of seasons now. Back in 2022, with the Sabres, Hinostroza put up two goals and one assist in the Heritage Classic win of Dubas' Maple Leafs.
