Seattle Kraken Rumors: Forward Becoming Free-Agent Target

The Seattle Kraken are looking to build off of their strong 2022-23 season. Due to this, they are seeking more forward depth, and one free agent who they have on their radar is Pius Suter.

Suter may not be a star, but he has emerged as a solid bottom-six forward over the years. This past season was a solid one for the 27-year-old especially. Although he had just 24 points in 79 games played, his defensive play improved immensely, and he showed that he can a key penalty killer. With that, his versatility is beneficial, as he can play all three forward positions.

When noting all of this, it is apparent that Suter could be a nice addition to Seattle's bottom six. It could be an avenue worth going down if he is willing to sign an affordable deal, as he would give the Kraken's bottom six a bit more of everything.

We will now need to wait and see if the Kraken end up being the team that signs Suter from here. On paper, there looks like a solid match here.
