Senators Rumors: 2 Legit Trade Offers on the Table for Alex DeBrincat
The Ottawa Senators are working hard to move forward Alex DeBrincat. This comes only one season after making a huge trade with the Chicago Blackhawks to land the goal-scoring winger. The 25-year-old forward is a pending restricted free agent and his agent is currently talking to a couple of teams about the parameters of a new contract. Sounds like the Senators have a couple of trade offers on the table, this according to Fourth Period's David Pagnotta:

The Detroit Red Wings are certainly one of the teams involved and so far team #2 is either the Carolina Hurricanes or a mystery team out west. Maybe the Calgary Flames? Considering all the trade talks they are having, it could make some sense.
DeBrincat scored 27 goals and 66 points in 82 games last season as a Sen and has 40-goal history and potential to once again hit the mark. He's still smack dab in the prime of his career and even though his next contract will be a complicated one, teams are interested in making a deal.
If it's not the Red Wings, Hurricanes or Flames, look for the Chicago Blackhawks to circle back to see what the Sens are looking for in a summer trade.
