St. Louis Blues Bring Back Old Friend
The St. Louis Blues are bringing back an old friend, signing Oskar Sundqvist to a one-year contract.
Sundqvist sent out a tweet hinting about his return to the Blues, and NHL insider Elliotte Friedman confirmed that it was the forward's way of letting us know that he is heading back to St. Louis. Andy Strickland is also reporting that it is a one-year, $750,000 deal.

Sundqvist was with the Blues from the 2017-18 season to the 2021-22 campaign. He most notably played a role in the Blues' Stanley Cup win back in 2019.
Sundqvist spent this past season split between the Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota Wild, posting 10 goals and 28 points in 67 games. The versatile forward will be aiming to build off of his solid season in 2023-24 with the Blues.
Alas, Sundqvist should be a nice addition to the Blues' bottom six from here. Let's see how he performs during his second stint with the club.
