St. Louis Blues Sign Top Prospect

The St. Louis Blues have signed top prospect Dalibor Dvorsky to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The Blues selected Dvorsky with the 10th-overall pick of last month's NHL Entry Draft, and he is viewed as a potential top-six center in the making. The 18-year-old has been praised for his excellent stick-handling, effective passing, and smart two-way play. As a result, he is expected to be a long-term part of the Blues' core later down the road.

Dvorsky spent this past season with AIK of HockeyAllvenskan, where he posted six goals and 14 points in 38 games. While in the J20 Nationell league with AIK, he dominated his fellow prospects, posting 10 goals and 21 points in just 10 games.

Dvorsky is expected to spend at least another year overseas, and his ELC will officially kick in once he begins his North American career. Let's see how well the youngster progresses from here, as expectations are quite high for the skilled forward.
