Toronto Maple Leafs Sign Dylan Gambrell

The Toronto Maple Leafs have been busy, and now they have added another forward, as Dylan Gambrell has signed to a one-year, $775,000 with the team.

Although Gambrell is not as big of a name as players like Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi, he still has the potential to be a solid addition to Toronto's roster. When looking at their group, he should be in the running to play fourth-line minutes. This is especially so when noting that they have lost a handful of their bottom-six forwards this summer.

Gambrell appeared in 60 games this past season with the Ottawa Senators, posting four goals and 10 points. Overall, it was a fairly quiet year for him offensively, but he did offer some physicality, recording 60 hits.

The Maple Leafs are in a position where they should be looking to add to their depth, and they have done just that with this Gambrell signing. Let's see if this move to Toronto helps Gambrell have a bigger season in 2023-24.
