Updated 2024 Stanley Cup Odds After Free Agent Frenzy

Per Bodog, The Toronto Maple Leafs, who finally made it out of the first round of the playoffs this year for the first time in eons, are the co-favorites to win the Cup, at +900. The Carolina Hurricanes, who have at least made it to the Conference Finals twice in the last five years, including these past playoffs, are also at +900.
The Leafs' short-term signings of the likes of Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi may have given them a boost in the bettors' eyes.
- Toronto Maple Leafs +900
- Carolina Hurricanes +900
- Colorado Avalanche +1000
- Edmonton Oilers +1000
- New Jersey Devils +1000
Next up, just one year removed from their own Cup title, the Colorado Avalanche are tied for third favorite, at +1,000. Joining them at those odds are the Edmonton Oilers and the New Jersey Devils.
The defending 2023 Stanley Cup Champions, the Vegas Golden Knights, aren't getting a lot of love to repeat, and are the 6th-favorite for next year, at +1,100.
At the other end of the scale, if you want to throw caution to the wind and go for the longest odds, you could throw down a few bucks on either the San Jose Sharks, Montreal Canadiens or Arizona Coyotes, and look for a huge return, as all are tied at +25,000.
The summer manoeuvrings aren't quite complete, however, and a massive trade, like perhaps the one that might be coming involving Erik Karlsson, could make for a seismic shift in these odds.
