Washington Capitals Rumors: 2 Possible Landing Spots for Evgeny Kuznetsov

The Washington Capitals and Evgeny Kuznetsov are ready to move on from one another. The skilled center had a bit of a down year in 2022-23, posting 55 points in 81 games. However, he is still a solid second-line center, and there should be teams willing to take a shot. Let's discuss two possible landing spots for him.

Nashville Predators: The Nashville Predators were interested in Kuznetsov earlier this offseason, and a trade even almost went down. When noting that the Predators need to improve down the middle, it makes sense that they have viewed Kuznetsov as a possible trade target. They have playoff aspirations this season, so let's see if they end up making another push for the 6-foot-2 center from here.

Anaheim Ducks: The Anaheim Ducks are looking to improve this upcoming season. They added Alex Killorn and Radko Gudas to their group, but there is still much more work to be done. When noting that they have a plethora of cap space heading into the new year, it could make sense for them to bring in Kuznetsov for their top six.

We will need to wait and see if either of these two clubs end up landing Kuznetsov before the start of the season from here.
